Business Analysts

We’re seeking individuals with a background in Business Analysis, Programme Office and / or Data Analytics to join our growing team to deliver transformational change programmes for our clients.

You’ll work in teams alongside our clients in Bristol and Stevenage and other Avantix colleagues identifying and presenting data-driven solutions to solve their complex organisational problems.

Due to the nature of the work we perform for our clients, you must hold or be able to obtain UK government security clearance (SC Level) which means as a minimum you have lived in the UK for the last five consecutive years.

About you:

  • You’ve already contributed to business improvement or change programmes through your work in product development, programme  / project delivery, service design or service delivery
  • Your experience includes collating, analysing and presenting business data using analytical tools such as PowerBI, SQL and Excel, visual tools such as charts, tables, and data modelling.
  • Your knowledge covers applying BA techniques such as Business Process Modelling, Brainstorming, SWOT Analysis,  and effective use of IT collaboration tools, such as Visio, PPT, SharePoint, Teams, JIRA, Confluence
  • You’ve worked in environments that embrace continuous improvement through innovation and change, and you continuously seek to learn and improve yourself by developing your skills and knowledge
  • Naturally curious and a problem-solver, you apply systems thinking to find solutions to complex problems, and your agile approach means you pro-actively seek positive outcomes
  • Your effective communication skills enable you to present ideas clearly and convincingly, positively influencing people across all levels of an organisation
  • Your qualifications include a degree (or equivalent) in a STEM subject, and preferably certification in Business Analysis
  • You’re able to work on a hybrid basis which means circa 3 client-facing days a week on their sites in Bristol / Stevenage, some ad hoc travel to other sites, and working from home the rest of the time.

Salary – £40-£50,000pa depending on experience.
