An engineering client was experiencing issues with team culture across its design and development teams. The client noticed an increase in project delays, communication breakdowns, and a general decline in employee morale. Despite having technically skilled employees, the teams were struggling to work together effectively, leading to inefficiencies and a dip in overall productivity.

Our solution

To identify the root cause of the issues, we conducted a comprehensive culture survey spanning across a number of organisations working together to achieve a common goal. The survey was designed to assess various aspects of the workplace culture, including communication, leadership styles, collaboration practices, employee engagement, and alignment with the company’s values. 

RESULTS

The survey results revealed significant disparities in how team members perceived their work environment, with key issues identified in areas such as trust, communication and recognition. Armed with these insights, we developed a targeted improvement plan. The culture survey and subsequent initiatives led to a significant improvement in team dynamics and overall performance.
